Biomass Gasifier Downdraft Gasifier Design:
The gasifier we offer here is downdraft gasifier. Downdraft gasifier is the most common type of gasifier. In downdraft gasifiers, the pyrolysis zone is above the combustion zone & the reduction zone is below the combustion zone. Fuel is fed from the top. The flow of air and gas is downwards through the combustion & reduction zones. A downdraft gasifier is so designed which is produced in the pyrolysis zone travels through the combustion zone where it is burnt. As a result the mixture gases in exit stream are relatively clean.
Features:
- Smallest in size, PORTABLE, sound proof system. Most suitable for villagers as they have plenty of agro-waste available with them which can be used to produce their own electricity by using this gasifier. As its a portable unit, the villagers can use it in multiple purposes like in day time they can use it for irrigating their farms and use it to electrify their house in nights.

Most suitable for villagers as they have plenty of agro-waste available with them which can be used to produce their own electricity by using this gasifier. As its a portable unit, the villagers can use it in multiple purposes like in day time they can use it for irrigating their farms and use it to electrify their house in nights.
- Maximum atomization like automatic initial firing.
- Most of the available gasifier in market use water for cleaning the gas which requires a huge quantity of water and water purification plant which results in high cost. We use dry filtration where these things are not required.
- Reliable, rugged and compact system.
- Low maintenance and easy to operate.
- Reachable to both urban and rural people.
- Replace the fossil fuel.
- Environmental friendly.
Normal Acceptable Feedstocks:
- Agricultural waste such as rice paddy, cotton stalks etc.

A downdraft gasifier is designed which is produced in the pyrolysis zone travels through the combustion zone where it is burnt. As a result the mixture gases in the exit stream are relatively clean.
Advantage of Downdraft Gasifier:
- Simple design.
- Low tar contents as most of the tar is burnt in the combustion zone.
- Best option for usage in gas engines.
- At lower loads, fewer particles in the gas.
Features:
- Smallest in size, portable, sound proof system. Most suitable for villagers as they have plenty of agro-waste available with them which can be used to produce their own electricity by using this gasifier. As its a portable unit, the villagers can use it for multiple purposes like in day time they can use it for irrigating their farms and use it to electrify their house at night.

- Feedstock Preparation
- Gasification Reactor
- Cooling & Cleaning System
- Tar Cracking in Gasifier
- Cyclone
- Charcoal Filter
- Pan Filter
- Saw Dust Filter
- Cotton Filter
Economic Benefits:
- About 50% savings in power / process heat generation as compared to diesel oil.
- Gasifiers generate 5-25% charcoal with a calorific value of more than 5000Kcal/hr
- Heat from the reduction chamber & silencer can be used to dry biomass or generate hot water.
- Ash generated from gasifiers can be used as soil binder for increasing agricultural productivity.
Environment Benefits:
- It is a renewable source of energy.
- No emission.
- It helps to clean our environment
Social Benefits:
- Waste management.
- Reduce the amount of wastes in landfills.
- It reduces the overreliance of fossil fuels.
- Energy security.
- Direct employment in rural communities by supplying biomass.
- Rural electrification
- Rural development
- Overall countrys development.
